Fun Facts About Email Marketing

Are you approaching email marketing the right way?

Many of my clients come to me with many misconceptions about how to approach email marketing. One of the biggest misconceptions is whether or not email marketing is actually an effective method of reaching customers and clients. In fact, email marketing is still one of the most prevalent methods of communication for marketing departments in both B2B and B2C industries.

According to a report compiled by The Radicati Group, a market research firm based in California, there are currently 2.6 billion email users worldwide, and is expected to hit the 3 billion mark by 2020. The report also noted that "In 2016, the number of business and consumer emails sent and received per day [totaled] over 215.3 billion, and is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 4.6% over the next four years, reaching over 257.7 billion by the end of 2020."

Email seems pretty relevant now, doesn't it?

Relevant or not, the truth of the matter is that unless you know the best ways to utilize email marketing for your business, it will cease from being an effective means of communication and just become noise.
